Good News! -- Colombia Officially Joins the Belt and Road Initiative

On the morning of May 14, Beijing time, China and Colombia signed a cooperation plan on jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative, along with exchange and cooperation documents in the field of economic development. This marks a further deepening of strategic cooperation between China and a key Latin American country, as well as an important milestone in the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative in the Western Hemisphere.

As a Chinese enterprise with long-term presence in the Colombian market, Henan Brilliant Biotech Co.,Ltd. has exported over 2,000 tons of goods to Colombia in 2024, establishing cooperation with more than 60 clients and companies, including over 20 new partners. According to export data for the first quarter of 2025, our market share in Colombia continues to grow. With the establishment of the Belt and Road cooperation framework, we anticipate broader prospects for economic and trade cooperation with Colombia and other Latin American countries.
