Light yellow oily liquid. Soluble in hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, higher alcohols and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in water. Epoxidized soybean oil can can prepare polymers with different properties by ring opening grafting between epoxidized bonds. It is a very promising raw material for polymer industry.
