Description of Diacetone alcohol:

White or slightly yellow transparent liquid with aromatic odor. The relative density is 0.9387 (20ºC). Melting point -44°C. Boiling point 167.9 ºC. Refractive index 1.4232. Flash point 13 ºC. Soluble in water, ethanol, ether and chloroform, etc., unstable, and decomposes when it interacts with alkali or when distilled at atmospheric pressure. Long-term storage at room temperature is easy to polymerize.
