Cyanuric acid is also known as tricyanic acid. White crystal, slightly bitter in taste, basically non-toxic, Slightly soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid and hot mineral acid. but it decomposes when heated to release highly toxic cyanide. Cyanuric acid is mainly used in the manufacture of chlorinated derivatives for the synthesis of cyanuric acid formaldehyde resins, epoxy resins, herbicides, etc.
