HEDP/1-Hydroxy Ethylidene-1,1-Diphosphonic Acid

HEDP is an organic compound, the molecular formula is C2H8O7P2, the molecular weight is 206.03, white crystalline particles, water-soluble is a colorless to pale yellow liquid. This product is easily soluble in water, soluble in methanol and ethanol. It has a large dissociation constant in water and can form stable complexes with metal ions. It can form stable adducts with compounds containing active oxygen to keep active oxygen stable. Low toxicity.

Mainly used as scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor for boilers and heat exchangers, complexing agent for cyanide-free electroplating, chelating agent for soap, metal and non-metal cleaning agent.

4.In dyeing industry, HEDP is used as peroxide stabilizer and dye-fixing agent;
