 Eid al-Adha,also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is held on December 10 of the Islamic calendar and is one of the main festivals of Islam.

This festival is an important moment for Muslims to hold congregational prayers and sacrifice animals for the Lord, symbolizing awe and obedience to Allah. Eid al-Adha is not only a common festival for ethnic minorities such as the Hui, Uyghur, Kazakh, Tajik, Dongxiang, Salar, and Baoan, but also one of the grandest festivals for Muslims.

During this festival, Muslims will gather in mosques or public places to hold grand ceremonies and celebrations. At the same time, families will slaughter livestock such as cattle and sheep and distribute the meat to relatives, friends, and the poor to celebrate and share.
