China and Peru enjoy a strong economic and trade relationship!

For 10 consecutive years, China has been Peru's biggest trading partner, while Peru has been China's second-largest investment destination in Latin America.

Since Peru joined the Belt and Road Initiative in 2019, Chinese investments in Peru's infrastructure sector have significantly increased. Chancay Port, a landmark project under the two countries' Belt and Road cooperation, is considered one of the largest port investments in South America.  And will be the gateway to Peru from Asia as well as an exchange and distribution hub for South America.

We believe that Chancay Port will promote the development of China-Peru import and export!
